Frequently Asked Softwave Questions
What will Softwave therapy feel like?
An alternative to an injection, surgery or medicine, the Softwave’s device penetrates a 7cm x 12cm area with a shockwave. The treatment lasts around 15 minutes but may be longer depending on the area and diagnosis. A gel is applied to the treatment area. The applicator is then used to produce pulses around the treatment area. There are no anesthesia or numbing agents needed, no side effects, and the results are long-lasting.
Is the treatment safe?
Softwave treatment has been around since the 1950s and advanced solutions have been established since 2004. The treatment is non-invasive, FDA approved, and used at leading national and international research and medical centers.
