Over the last couple decades, technology has boomed. We went from few adults having technology to it being more easily accessible and now common for young children to spend hours on phones and tablets. We are growing, developing, and learning at a faster rate than ever before thanks to technology. The down side of all the technology is the prolonged use. Anyone who spends hours in front of a computer, playing on tablets, or working from phones is not only susceptible but actively causing damage and degeneration to the cervical spine. After long periods of time using technology we begin to lose the natural curve in our spine. The straighter the neck becomes, the more damage to the nerves and surrounding tissue.
In the video below, Dr. Bryan lays out multiple ways to combat tech neck to prevent degeneration from over use of technology. Learn about things you can do to prevent lose of curve from the start, ways to reverse issues from tech neck, and how we can help you here in the office.
